If you or someone you know has been arrested for a DUI or has had their license suspended, you or your attorney must write or fax the DMV to demand a hearing within ten days of your arrest. If you do not request a hearing within 10 days, it is likely that you will not get another chance to fight the suspension.

To win at the hearing, you will need to have an experienced attorney present to defend you and get your license back. Recent evidence has shown that having an attorney present at your hearing can increase your chances of winning between 40%-70% depending upon the circumstances of your case. Contact the Law Offices of Barry Sands to get a copy of a hearing request.
